I believe the winter has killed my fish. I have a small koi pond. Maybe 6'x12' or so and ~2.5' deep. Ice tore a hole low in the liner, maybe 9" from the bottom, and while I have not seen it yet i know it is big enough that if I fill it it drains in hours. I can't fix it now with the cold & snow. they seemed ok last weekend but this sudden cold snap seems to have frozen a bunch of them. Poor fish.

I thought it's normal for Koi to freeze in the ice?

Sorry to hear that. My parents have a decent sized one, we dug in when I was a littler pal. Its impressive what those fish can survive. We've got a blue herring that likes to eye them up but so far, have successfully chased him out of town. We lost a few of the big fish from sandy, they were maybe 10 years younger than me. They make those deicer disks that float at the surface fyi. I think my dad still uses it.

idk I liked my boss's trout. one of them was a whopper, measured 92" on my 'tall tales' measuring stick (aka 13").

Because you can't live under the umbrella of protection that mommy and daddy provide forever unless you are really lucky!

dunno, sometime inside rattled then it stopped. now the pull string pulls real easy. not wasting time to dismantle. I assume the brief time at WOT when the governor broke was the last straw. it's from 1988 it's time to replace. and Tecumseh no longer makes engines

Broke the connecting rod.

Not unheard of to see snow blowers 30 + years old and in great shape.

I'll have brand new Simplicity and Snapper blowers come late summer/early fall. Let me know when you decide what you're looking for.
