What a moron. He wrongly assumes that everything is working normally when UA kicks in. If the car is erring and going WOT, what makes him think that the brakes and gear selector (which are both electric and under control of the same (supposedly) malfunctioning computer), are going to work? Obviously his car is going to stop, his car is functioning correctly!

I still think most of the UA cases are fraud or driver error, but no one knows the exact cause of the UA, so its still early to speculate on how to stop a UAing car. And then you have to factor in panic on behalf of the unsuspecting driver. geez....
