Wow thanks for the welcome! Here goes. Grainy pic from Pocono waiting to get on track last year. No, the wheel well gap isn't as bad as it looks. Car is L99 (auto) SS. Got tired quick of how quiet it was so added Borla S mufflers and a CAI. Got tired of that and went mild cam, headers, bla bla. Dyno tuned at 411whp/ 391tq. Wheels are 20's w/ 275/ 315's. Cold weather the car wears 245/ 275's, best time at ATCO 12:06 @ 115?.xx. Best top end 117.xx. I know with tire I'd do high 11's but I don't get out enough to justify...yet. Oh yeah, wick plaza area. Don't know why the pic is a thumbnail.

Cool... I'm not far from you.

Is your car still DOD active or did your cam swap delete that?

DOD is gone, worthless junk. There wasn't much going on with VVT cams when I did mine and I was getting noise on some cold starts. Of course the dealer never heard it so it was LS3 conversion time.

Hey John. That run was a 1.911 60', 7.857 1/8 at 92.50, 117.57mph trap. I had 115.xx in my head. Car was cranking that night but know that this was a cold Nov at ATCO. Haven't weighed the car yet but the 5th Gen is a bit of a porker. 3/4 tank gas. I pulled off the return road, a guy comes running up to me wanting to run against his cammed G8. "You look like my best challenge". No bet just fun. Mirrored each other down the track. His 12:08 my 12:12, he redlighted. Time slips 6 minutes apart. Bob

Nice! I'm hoping to get my stock internals G8 in the 11's this fall. Then it's time for heads and a cam!
