Saleen has been in the process of going out of business ever since Steve Saleen sold out two owners ago. The bean counters took over and suck the life out of a once proud enthusiast driven company operating in an enthusiast driven market. Prices went up, quality and development went down, and they have been financially taking it on the chin ever since.
That is just the managerial problem, not even gonna get into how badly they over paid for the company in the first place.

that's sad. I always liked the Saleen cars, my friend Steve has one. I can see the price of Saleens going up from here on out, but boy would that suck if you crashed or broke one!
