June 2010 Chatterbox June Meet (Pics)

It wasnt a very good turn out but heres some pictures of some who did show up.

Slaptastic and I driving down

How to ruin a 5th gen.

Then, just like that, it turned into a Mustang meet.

I didnt get everyones car because a lot of people left before I could.

I agree, very poor turnout for the f bods. For anybody who wasn't there to see that 5th gen in person, it was terrible. Nothing lined up on it, paint looked like macco, exhaust tips were all messed up one stujck out more then the other and the list goes on and on

And the guy who was driving it was wiping it down with a dish towel. Everywhere he touched was leaving huge scratches in the paint. The car really was terrible.

I swear that 5th gen doesn't even look real. Looks more like a bad photoshop job.

When I asked him why the extra headlight and tail light, he said the extra headlight to kind of give it the look of the lt1 cars with the 4 headlights. He did the tails just to be different he said. The only impressive thing about the car was the fact that it was supposedly putting a little over 600 hp at the wheels.

To me it looks like the inspiration for the rear would be a first gen, with the long brake lights. But really it doesnt work.

Looks like I missed out on a good time. Jetlag was killing me otherwise I would have been there.

That car was the Popular Mechanics project car for this year. Way over the top!!

Sorry I couldn't make it guys, but family stuff came first, I'm allowed to miss a meet once in a while I think . Who had the red LT1? And that seems like a pretty poor showing considering the weather. 98CamaroSS, the one time you came out here I didn't make it to ogle your better than new condition car!

And yeah that ugly 5th gen was in Popular Mechanics, chronicling the build every month for a while of the Netcong auto body shop.

The red LT1 is a friend of mine, sean. The car is quite nice with a custom paint job. he is about to go into the military so I finally got him out to a meet to see the whopping 10ish f bods that showed up haha
