73 LT Camaro

Its been a PITA since I got it in 2001 before heading to PA from Cali. But I got it running out there and its been barely running since.....but it made it to Carlisle and got in the limelight too.

Some pix below....

Right before I got it. Previous owner kept the hood and wheels.

Light resto on front end/ 454 install along with a TH-350 (had no eng/trans when I got it)

Flat hood (no air cleaner), multi color paint

Next hood : 4" glass cowl

Repair - dr floor pan, with the last piece of my old 73 RS....lol.

3" Heart Throb exhaust (pic shows 3" Flowmasters, but I used Dynomax Ultraflow's instead) Only took me 2+ years to go install it......

MADE IT TO THE SIDEWALK for a peek at a street....lol.

The rest of the pix I'll attach below...

And of course, hood #3 and #4 is on the car now (L-88). Burnt tire is my brand new 4 day old tires after the photo above

(attached below)

And my Carlisle photo :
(sorry for the size)

And lastly, another 'after' shot as the crowd was walking away from the car. Yeah, I lost, but I was the only one that drive my car home on the same tires PLUS my burnout was like 6 minutes long....lol.

Dude that's going to be a nice little bike there. Love the old WWII style shark on the tank. I'm building an 81 Bobber style Sportster myself right now. Should have updated pics in about 2 more weeks when my forks and some other misc stuff comes back from chrome.

Nice first gen in the works! What's that odd looking orange/red jack in your garage? For a motorcycle?

I do have a motorcycle jack but that big one is an old truck jack from like 1910. Full mechanical so its safer then any hydraulic. I aquired all my tools from my grandfather who was an engineer/tool fanatic. I got to many old tools including plenty of homemade ones. Im thinkin about strippin my car now and getting it sand blasted to do a full resto. Even tho i bought in parts and rebuilt the motor.

Here is my collection so far:

1974 Camaro
worked 350 in it, just picked it up a few months ago. I should have taken more before pictures. Needed more body work than anything. One owner, 62k original miles...new rear, rebuilt trans(as of yesterday) interior is mint. Don't know much about it...the car used to be red, was off the road for 10 years. Drove it for the first time Sunday and it rides perfectly

before shots:

After(have to take more):

& of course there is the Jeep in the background.

A little lazy today, don't feel like typing much. I have to get pictures of the pontiac up.

here are pics of the firebird, absolutely horrible pictures lol i was in the middle of fixing the channels and sanding the fender. And yes the bumpers on the camaro are HUGE lol

The firebird was my first car, bought it when I was 16 for 1k from this stupid kid who had no idea what it was. I can't complain. 16 years old and driving that after I fixed it up.

ignore the rims, its just so i can move her around

before i bought her 5 years ago in the kids backyard:

and of course the jeep for good measure lol
