ignition or fuel

My car at full throttle will cut out if you mash it to the floor. Cruising is fine. Almost like some one is hitting a kill switch and turning it back on. Has new fpr, fuel filter, cleaned mass, I don't know where to start any one else had this issue? Also it comes and goes sometimes it pulls hard all the way, and than sometimes as soon as it gets to 4000 it does it.

Could be pump failing or ecm problems.

I had a situation like this...the battery cable would touch the body when the engine moved...

sounds electrical to me...but start with putting a fuel pressure guage on it & see if fuel drops drops when problem occurs.

Definitely do as said and drive with a fuel pressure gauge on the windshield or somewhere you can watch it. If it drops off when the problem occurs, I'd get a fuel pump.
