wheel spacers..

97 ta..i have 235/55 r16 tires, i know i should probably get bigger tires first lol but i dont wanna spend that much money yet.. does anybody know how much id need to get them to stick out the fender width or maybe even a little more? i want to do only the back and keep the front the same.. thanks

You shouldn't use a spacer bigger than 1/8" unless you want the wheel studs to fail. I'm not sure the smallest adapter you can buy is, maybe 1 1\2". If you push your wheels out that far you'll probably have the aforementioned rubbing issues and you'll have increased bearing wear.
