p0123 code help

So i pulled the codes on the bird because its been running bad. and it said p0123 throttle/pedal position sensor a circuit high. So i replaced the sensor and it still throws the same code and still runs like ass. I cleaned out the throttle body, i checked the sensor for corrosion and made sure that the connector was making a good connection. Anybody have any idea what needs to be done?

Check the wiring going to it for any damages and ohm it out.

When you are ohming wires, you are checking for breaks in the harness. If you show very little or no resistance, you are ok. If your meter does nothing, you have a break in the wiring.
