another mysterious sound thread

so the passenger heatshield is gone. i took the car the couple hundred feet to the stop sign and as its reving down/slowing down i hear it. its in 2nd gear. i put it in reverse and go back to my driveway (as i'm going backwards i hear it again.)

it definetly sounds like some light metal thats loose, i have no idea what it is.i know the brakes need to be done soon, could this sound be related to that in any way? does anyone have any ideas? this sound is going to drive me crazy.
