Just a weekend cruiser my camaro is my go fast car. Maybe Ill thro the edelbrock topend on that I have. jus gonna finish restoring it for now so I can drive it while I upgrade things

some updates


air cleaner and valve covers, i got a great deal on them.



picked up at the swap meet



got this from J&W nova parts

starting to prep the front end today and i will start painting next weekend hopefully, keeping it autumn gold with black stripes on the hood

new headlamp bezels and i cleaned up the original grill and painted it like an SS one. Line lock is hooked up and all the brake lines are new and installed



roll cage cage just padded it up, its welded to the trunk frame and the main hoop is welded into the frame connectors

Making moves there huh! Are you painting it yourself or are you having your brother do it? Maybe I can stop by after work next weekend and check out the fresh paint

im painting it yeah that would be cool, im doing the front end so that its completely done and then im doing the motor and what not then the small rust spots out back

i like the parking lights a lot better on the 68-69, they are smaller whereas the 70 and up are large. its not anything special, just a 4 cylinder car so i figure im going to do it to my liking rather than back to its original self.

thanks! hopefully by end of summer now im just saving after i paint the front end. ive got a crank, heads, block and some accessories, i need to buy a trans, run my fuel lines, machine the heads and buy a rotating assembly.

started the body work on the fender today, just used some 4:1 primer, tomorrow will be some sanding and feathering a small dent above the side marker.
