Well I mean the actual part that bothers me is deletable. I guess I will talk to my tuner and see what he says. I can still just delete the codes, have the thing installed and be all good right?

pretty sure the codes will come up again if the system runs a self test or tries to function and finds component parameters are not within spec, or missing

Its just a motor, no sensors, and its still hooked up, just not to the cables. So the PCM shouldn't know any better.

So yea, no luck at all.

PCM did not want to play nice. Any ideas? Would not talk with the reader.

take the cluster out and put electrical tape over the lights that are lit. Maybe take it to a dealer to see if their GM scanner can read the computer or just have them reflash it?

yeah it was weird. read fine on my car, wouldn't read matts. same exact setup except no tcs on mine. matt had his motor out. i dono i wish i could get my hands on a gm tech 2 scanner.

I will call trifecta tmmr, I mean I doubt they "lock" the PCM but never know.

i thought i pulled an engine code? yeah remember because the a/c is gone it had a refrigerant pressure code or something like that
