Ricer excuses: I wasn't really in it from the roll because I didn't think that Tim was gonna go for it (Yea, sounds dumb, I know).

Also, Tim and I were dead even until my trans couldn't decide whether or not to shift into second. Once that started, he pulled hard. Damn trans has 189k miles and is getting pretty worn....

If the Lumina had a fresher trans, it would be a much closer race. He and I figure that I would be able to pull him a bit off of the line, but that he wouldn't have too much trouble getting around me in the second half of the track.

I'll have to get that new trans and maybe a 3400 swap soon. Can't let the Ford win....

Been done plenty of times already. Turbo 3400 would be faster anyway

60*v6 > 90*v6

haha i know, when i first heard the alarm chip, i was dying laughing. And when my gf saw it she was like "we arent taking that thign out tonight" but after she drove it, we did, and beat on ti all night. the first night i had it, i melted a section of the rear tires, hopefully it'll go away with some driving lol.

No way....60* > all

I really am not planning a turbo, can't even afford the 3400 swap atm. I don't want anything crazy - I'll end up treating it like another racecar then, can't have that. Just something with a bit more pep.
