Map sensor All fixed!

I was wondering if anyone knew what causes it to fail...I put a new one in last week, and it just died on me a few minutes ago. Before i go shell out more $$$, I'd like to know what the common causes are so that I can address that issue fiist...

Thanks!

Are you sure it isn't the wiring? I have yet to come across a dead GM map sensor and I've seen some crazy stuff. Fuel, boost, you name it, those things are durable.

as a matter of fact, that's exactly what it was...sorta..

i hit the connector with a little silicone spray and some dialectric grease and it's fine now...

makes me wonder if i should have replaced it in the first damned place! LOL

thanks for the help!
