weak spark

so i was driving the car today and the tach stopped working. a little after that the car started running like crap. and whenever i floored it you can tell it wasnt getting enough fuel or spark. sure enough i turn it off when i got home and tried to turn it on after and it wont. its getting a very very weak spark from the coil to the distributor. the coil is getting 12.5 volts. i changed the coil and stil its got a weak spark. any ideas?
