coolant temp sensor

does anyone know where the coolant temp sensor is on a 4th gen 3.4L...mine isnt working and i cant replace it if i cant find it

I tried seraching for you but came up empty handed. I thought you would have at least 2 sensors. One for the pcm which i think is what turns on your fans (unlike 3rd gens that use a 3rd sensor to turn on the fans). The other would be for your cluster guage.

On my LT1, the sensor for the guage is on the passenger side head. The sensor for the PCM is on my waterpump itself. I cant find any info on the v6's short of not having a haynes manual with me.

The sensor is whats causing your fans not to run is the one for the PCM. thats why your temp gauge was at 260 yesterday! GOOD LUCK if you need a rescan im here

yeah well i got the O2 sensors and the coolant temp sensor i just need j0n to put them in, but i dont think hes found out where the coolant temp sensor goes still lol
