HELP! Dead Battery.....
I don't know whats causing it but my battery is always dead in my TA! There is a new battery in there....and it's not my alternator. Other then exhaust and line lock, my car is stock. It even have the stock radio. Line lock fuse is out, I thought that was it...but its not. I charged it on Friday...drove it for awhile....drove it for awhile on Sat... and went to start it Wed morning...and it wouldnt even crank. Anyone have any suggestions? It's driving me nuts!! I charged it yesterday and drove it for awhile...even managed to take it to school...I am going to try and start it in the AM to see what happens.
There is 100% NOTHING left on. I don't even set the alarm on it. I am very open for suggestions on what it might be.
Thanks!

you gotta get a load meter between the car and the battery. Using a multimeter in amp mode is one way. We used a 12v test light on my buddies ram, unhooked the alternator, and started pulling fuses until the light went dim. That just narrows the problem. Then gotta figure out what all is in that circuit that could cause the draw.

the alt is a good bet - inside it has a diode treo when it goes bad - and even tho it charges correctly when not running the magnetic part is energized so it drains the battery -- the older cars had clocks that drained the battery and than it was the radio that was the problem today ?? but as was said ^ take off the ground and connect a test light between the battery and the cable and the light should be out if not start unplugging - note when you open the door the light will be on or if the car has a hood light that will also turn on test light -- easy stuff just take your time -- jz
