Yea not many people like em, bit extravagant I guess is the word. I really like the looks and sound of it. Thin neck and a really light body.

Aha, I wish I could play some slayer songs.

I am pretty much a beginner though, I am working on my scales/chords.

yo man im still pretty much a beginner too... but i can play some songs.. iv been playing for like maybe 2 years... but only serious for like a year and half... if you ever want to get together and jam maybe i can show you a few things... i mostly play megadeth and metallica stuff though... i can play the beginning of raining blood... but im not really to into slayer so dont really look up to much of their music.... we should have a JSFBOA jam party!!!

Aha, megadeth/metallica... I wasn't aware of a difference.

I am more of a fan of mustaine. And yea, I would be down for a jam session.

hey a good bassist is hard to find.... as far as the megadeth metallica thing... im a fan of both... but mustaine is my idol... actually the sleeve im having drawn up to be tattooed is pretty much a tribute to him and his music... but metallica still wrote some killer songs on their first 5 albums... but that had a lot to with mustaine too... OH and dont forget kerry king played with megadeth for a short time so he probably picked up some of mustaines sound too.... hes just a metal genius nothing more too it... would try to play some more newer stuff but my guitars arent set up for down tunings and dont sound good with them... plus its a pain to down tune all the time you wanna play a song so i just play in standard.... standard sounds better anyway... and btw... metallica and megadeth sound nothing alike... megadeths music is far far far more intricate than metallica... not to mention better lyrics too... and lars is a douch and hammet is way over rated... cliff was the man i never liked newstead... so that just leaves hetfeild... but im prob still going to see them in november anyway hahah

Theres one of mine. Notice its not a Gibson. Its got a combination of crappy components for a very unique sound. I bought it at Columbus farmer's market for $25 missing a lot of parts. Anybodys up for a bit of jamming in the south jersey area I'm game.

This guitar is awesome, if you havent noticed, I like unique looking and sounding guitars. It is my favorite. The queens of the stone age used it to record a couple songs on their new album and it sounds WILD

Ive been playing for 3 years but i havent had time to practice in the last two so i suck ha ha, I started out playing bass. I think the best guitar to play is my epiphone SG its plays so easy. Im sure a gibson would be better but i cant afford that. I like Deans alot to and jacksons. Never been a fan of BC rich or Ibanez both sound nice but dont like they way they play

Um, have you ever played on one?

Mine is prob the lightest guitar I have played on, and it has a really nice thin neck... I would like to have a whammy bar, but its not needed at the moment.

I prefer my carvin over all. Personally jacksons and fenders suck ass. I"ve been playing off and on now for about 11 years and a cover band here and there. B.C. Rich's aren't bad at all tho

My main guitar is my carvin V with EMG 81 and 89 and the backup (which I need to finsh painting.Started that 1.5 years ago. lol) is a Guild Star.. Never got the actual model name for it. That has EMG 81 and 60 in it. Also have a Schecter C7+ diamond series limited with whatever crap pickups that came in it. For an amp I have the Line 6 Vetta II

ESP/LTD FTW!!! haha... i have an ltd ec-400vf with seymour duncans in it... and i have a ltd ex-100 that i custom painted and put seymour duncans in... both guitars are passive pickups... yo matt dont listen to them... you play what feels right in your hands... but i hear ya im ont ready for a whammy either... but what i wanted to tell you is if you want to learn a really easy song look up "for whom the bell tolls" its just the normal 3 string barr chords and some palm mutes... really simple song and fun to play.... i dont know what jam is talking about bc rich being heavy... the warbeast i was looking at was also very light... besides unless your playing blues or somtihng with alot of clean tones... the heavyness really doesnt matter as much... and anything with active pickups will sound the same... you can put active pickups in a peice of ply wood and they would sound good.... haha... warlocks although not super heavy are quite large though i must say.....
