LT1 setup is from '95 camaro.

need security (key chip) feature disabled
A/C & cooling fan temps adjusted
spark curves and fuel maps adjusted
anything else to make the ECM 'stand alone' and just able to run the engine and trans.

Are you able to bring the car or ECM to the shop, or are you looking for mail order tune?

What is wrong with the A/F-timing? Disabling the Vats and such should be N/P, but if the car does currently run, you'll probably need to do the tuning twice, one just to get it running, then data log for tuning. So depending on what you have it might be easier to take the car to a shop.

I am told the setup ran. Camaro is gone, so it s simply the drivetrain and electrics from the camaro and a 86 GP w/o drivetrain. I know I need the security issue resolve to be able to start the GP once the setup is installed. As of now, the car can;t be taken to a shop. once the security feature is resolved, then that is a possibility. If I can do everything at once great, if not, then I'll have to do it in 2 parts.

i would suggest a mail order tune just to disable the VATS system so you con proceed with the swap and work all the bugs out. Once the car is up and running and driving, then take it somewhere for the performance part of the tune and to make and other changes.

I put a 96 LT1 in a '79 y-body and used a stand alone harness which came with a module that bypassed the VATS separately and my ECM is still 100% stock. Ive ran the car a few times but due it was a long term project and now just sits. If it had ever been finished, then i would have taken it to get tuned.
