Any plans for a Tapatalk option? I assume there is a cost for this but I really don't know. Would be nice to add NJFBOA to the list.

I looked into implementing tapatalk a while back, but there were quite a few security vulnerabilities so I dropped the idea at the time. Recently I have been reading about it again, and it appears as though they have everything fixed and that they are working on even more updates.

In short, it's back on the to-do list.

So that would make for a pure mobile version of the site?

If you had the Tapatalk app then yes. It would list all the forums and subforums. You can set favorites (forums/subforums), check PMs and see pics/links. I did not have a problem with my old Droid loading the full website and certainly no issues with the new Thunderbolt. It's just an efficient way for me to browse forums.

Lets stay on topic.

My sister is looking to ditch hers in favor of a phone with a "real" keyboard, main reason I am sticking with a good ole droid.

So far I love it besides the battery life. I stream Pandora at work on 4G so its expected the battery will suffer. Since I sit at a computer most of the day, I just have it plugged in when needed. Just doing normal stuff, it will last a day which is where my rooted/overclocked droid was at. The phone is also a bit big but that doesn't bother me.

I thought I would really miss the real keyboard but with the huge screen, I have gotten used to it really quickly. It was nice to see HTC work out the features well with this phone. My rooted droid was set up very similar whereas my wife's new Droid 2 Global is horrible. Its fast and everything but the basic layout/setup of the phone isn't as smooth or intuitive.

So overall, I've adjusted within a day or two to the Thunderbolt. Speech to text also works really well and surprised it picks up my mumbling without an issue. Love the speed of 4G and the phone is much faster than my old Droid. Flash plays ultra smooth as well whereas it would be horribly choppy with the Droid.

It just takes getting used to but if she liked texting/typing without looking, then that would be a problem with any touch screen only phone. I do miss that feature but I usually did it while driving which is a good habit to break. If I want to text, just need to say the words and it will appear on the screen

Speaking to a phone.... to text... seems backwards in so many ways.

Bear, Brian pretty much hit the nail on the head. I know you have been asking for a mobile skin for a while, and this should more that satisfy that need. Only issue for you is (if I remember correctly) that you have a blackberry, and the version of tapatalk available for that platform is just a public beta, so you might see some bugs here and there. They have done a lot to bring the iOS and Android apps way up in quality, so I would assume that the same care will be taken with BB. See here to get tapatalk for your BB: http://tapatalk.com/mobile.php#blackberry

I havent had the BB for about 9 months now I use it as an alarm clock now Maybe you should keep up over at MMS, lol. I actually installed Andriod on my SD card on my Win 6.5 HTC HD2 and dual boot it
Free Siruis > pay extra for internet account Sirius

I looked up the tapatalk real quick but I didnt really understand the point. I think Brian has summed it up well. Thanks.
Not sure if the app would really be worth the money though
