Finally got rid of rattle

I've had this annoying rattle that has been getting worse with time. It was coming from the rear of my car (94 camaro) but I could never pin point it. Today as I was driving to work it got so loud I was determined to find it. It didn't take long to discover it was one of the rear hatch rubber bumpers. They were both hard as a rock and the rubber threads were falling apart. None of the dealerships in the area had them so I went to pep boys in the help section and claimed the last pack. After spending $5 I installed them and what a difference. If you havn't replaced these I would recommend it. There's also two for the hood which I think I will replace. Now that that rattle is gone I can hear my pass. side window rattling louder. I'll have to fix that next.

One problem leads to another . I know how annoying squeaking cars are, but usually the fix isn't that easy to find or remedy

I definitely need this my hatch has been making a lot of noise. Pep boys has a "help" section? What other kinds of items is it nearby?

Just ask when you go there, each store is different. The bumpers are made by dorman part #45392. I bought the last pack at the store I was at.

my hood bumpers broke recently when I shut my hood without me noticing. it caused my hood to sit 1/2" lower than normal so when I turned my headlights on the lids rode up on top of the hood and scraped the hood down to the metal where it made contact. not a bad idea to replace them haha.
