anyone in the burlington or surrounding areas

i need to see about getting a 78mm ls1 throttle body for a 98-99 f body to see if this solves my idle issue since i have an 01 tb on my 98 and its not shutting all the way.

Is the cable holding it open? Or the trans kickdown cable?

You can probably find one for 30-40 bucks...then just sell it...Mine was gone as soon as I posted it on tech.

cable is holding it open. i tried to give both cables as much play as possible and still no change. and if i tighten up the cables it just holds the throttle blade open even more. i have a guy around the corner from me with a 98 so hes going to let me borrow his for a half hour to see if that fixes my problem.

Did you try elongating your cable bracket bolt holes? That might allow you to adjust it enough to get some slight slack and let it close all the way.
