Took truck out in snow. Kept 4wd off for more fun. Also to learn the reactions of said truck in snow.

A 2wd truck is pretty useless in snow actually. 4wd is a beast in this thing. '99 1500 Z71

gotta carve out some time to do the drum - disc brake swap on the car, then its good to go. replacing stock rear drum brakes with a nice set of 12" d/s rotors and PBR calipers, new braided lines and hardlines too. Proportinion valve, ebrake cable, fuild change too.

I thought spring was here, so I called my insurance co. and told them to put all my cars back on legal driving status so I could take advantage of that killer weather we had earlier in the week. If I had known it was just a tease, I would have just kept staring at them under wraps. I don't think we are going to have an enjoyable season this year. Looks to be a crappy spring of cold and rain, followed by a dismal summer of unenjoyable ***** weather. I won't be coming out except if we get those perfect days. But I am guessing if we even see just a handful, ill still be waiting for a better season next year. This year is already proving to be a major major disappointment.

Yep was a good day. Got the Hawk outta my garage and changed the oil and put some air in the tires. Just gotta do the whole spring detail thing and it's good to go! Can't freaking wait. Haven't driven it since last August.

Now the only thing left is to wait a couple of more days for the GREEN DEATH CLOUD OF POLLEN DUST to cover EVERYTHING!
