Where is the coolant temp sensor located? I have a 91 gta.

I believe it's in the front of the intake manifold, near the port that feeds the coolant through the throttle body.

Which one are you looking for? There are three....one infront of the manifold tells the ECM the temperature. There are also two in the heads, one on each side. One is the fan temp switch and the other one is the sender for the gauge.

his car doesnt start when it warm and the ses is throwing a

15. Low temperature indicated at engine coolant temp. sensor

we think the sensor might be bad..

Then it would be the one infront of the intake. I know there's a way to test it with a meter to see if it's bad. I just don't remember exactly what you're supposed to look for. Maybe check TGO or just pick one up and slap it in there....they're cheap.
