hit brakes window defroster turns on?

Ok my batery dies misteriously on sunday i got a new battery and installed it to day now evry time i hit my Brake my rear window defroster turns on any 1 know whats roing and how to fix?

Nah, they're too focused on Kelly's car right now.

Seriously though, just check the contacts on the end of the hatch. On 3rd gens those things can get loose so check there first.

I'm leaning towards that too since its on the top of the hatch, maybe a wires loose on it and when the light comes on its sending power onto your defroster grid. I dunno, just guessin.

It's very likely it's the clip at the top of the hatch.

the wire that powers them were being pinche together because of who ever the moron was who worked on it messed up he also didint put a peeace to the drum brak on right so it was jus hangin there and thats y the brakes were no good and he forgot to fill the master cilender after draining it. Alwell thanx for the advice
