Custom Stereo Install Shop in South Jersey

Need to know if anyone can recommend a good one. It's not for an F-Body install, but I've got a 6.5" LCD Double Din Kenwoon head unit to go into a 00 Lincoln LS and I want it to look factory. It's possible, and I've got pics, but I just don't have the skills to pull it off myself.

i think it is a pretty custom job, IIRC, the radio controls in the LS are actually molded into the center desh, along with the climate controls and other functions. My 95 sts had a removeable radio but 96 and newer had them as one whole piece, really annoying to do a custom install, usually requires some modification of the oem panel and fabrication of new radio trim panels. If i had more free time I would do a job like that but it is pretty involved to get it look stock, but its possible. If i'm wrong about the LS and the radio is seperate, then its still a basic install like my 7" flip out pioneer unit in my SS. You just want to make sure all the weight is supported, not just held by the front mounting screws.

I don't know of any in south jersey, but Sound Automotive up here has a wonderful reputation, and Little G will vouch for them too. They did a great job installing his head unit and replacing all four speakers.

Those two threads have some installed pics. I tried to cut the faceplate on a donor and warped it (too much spin with the dremel). If you look at the pics on the 2nd page of the first link above, that's an aftermarket unit stuffed in a 03+ NAV system faceplate. I just ordered the faceplate today and will need to paint it black after it's all said and done, but that's what it should look like.

The only really custom install things is mounting into the faceplate and fabbing up the bracketry with the proper offset to look factory.

I'm going to run things by Audio Depot on Route 306 in Mt. Holly first because I've worked with them before and haven't had a complaint. Hopefully we'll have this sucker in and running soon. Overall goal is to look factory, and like the page 1 pics of the first link (we're adding the additional wood grain kit once it's in).

It's actually fairly easy to take apart the dash. I just want to get the mounting part taken care of, that's my biggest problem.

thats not hard at all. if the dash kit is like any other it should only take minutes.

Auto Security & Sound in Pennsauken ONLY if Dave still owns the shop.

I used to work there. If Dave still works there tell him Tony(though he used to bust my balls by calling me Frank for some reason) sent you. This is going back a good 5 years but he should remember me.

And how long were they in before getting ripped out and claiming the head unit space in the name of Amstel Light?
