Check engine light ! oh noooooo

Well last week I had a ses light for P0322 or 332 forgot which one but it was knock sensor low voltage input bank 2. Cleared it thinking it was a one time thing since I hear nothing.

Came back this weekend so I removed the intake and was gonna check the wiring to the pcm first when I saw this

So now its getting two new ones and a light coat of gaskets maker around the boot to seal it off. Still going to check the harness once I find the pin to the pcm

Anyone else have issues with thete knock sensors?

Almost had to miss the meet for this

Mine came off looking nearly that bad as well, but hadn't failed. Moisture incursion through the plastic cap that the wire passes through. I used a thin bead of black RTV silicone to seal the boot to the valley cover so hopefully no repeat.
