1992 L98 350 Formula..Firehawk clone..f/s f/t

Posting this up fellas...pasted from c/l ad. Forgive me if some notations are common knowledge to f/body afficionados.

'92 Firebird Formula 350..true L98 w/the 8th vin digit being an '8' designating the 350 option. What makes this even more rare is the fact that in 1992 one could order the rpo code: cc1 in a 350 formula (fisher ttop option)...this was most commonly found on trans am's and gta's during the 3rd gen production run. Being the last year of production and the impending release of the 4th gen birds w/the lt1/t56 option, only 1024 'formulas' were manufactured in 1992. Out of these 1024 roughly 48% were manufactured w/the 350 option and out of those approx half came w/ttops, making this car 1 of about 250 produced (350 w/the ttops that is). I've taken it a bit further by VISUALLY clone-ing this car into the highly sought after firehawk option, of which only 25 were ever produced from SLP in Toms River NJ (Numbered cars were actually 1-27 w/# 18 and 23 reserved but never manufactured...and only 1 ttop car produced out of the 25 made...#25 actually)... www.92firehawk.com will show you how rare firehawks are. I do have the original tri-y headers and intermediate pipe that is NOT included in the sale if buyer wanted to purchase separately

See: (http://www.firebirdnation.com/forums...ers-1982-1992/). for production #'s of stock firebirds

Onto my car:

-1992 formula, red w/black cloth interior...350 tuned port/700r4 w/3:27:1 posi disc rear...all appear to be original to the car...this car has the ws6 handling option (tighter ratio steering box, h/d sway bars, 4wheel discs, etc)
-New exhaust including y-pipe-dual cats-into original sourced slp ehaust (the actual exhaust avail on the firehawk)..split single side exit..full stainless...all joints welded.
-Original sourced ronal wheels 16x9 x4..new rapture tires..these are not repos!! and were painted when the car was sprayed,,backside of wheels too like the original
-New paint, original code wa8774 ("brillant red")used..door jams done as well.
-Offset original formula/firehawk hood w/open backing
-4th gen t56 console, car is an automatic but previous owner upgraded the console to a new generation model year (locating a firehawk console is impossible anyhow). Original consoles normally split at the sides on firebirds anyhow (this is my 4th 3rd gen..lol)., other than that the original interior is perfect..dash isn't crack and carpet and seats have no tears...ttop headliner is perfect!
-New ball joints and alignment
-Rebuilt headlight motors..open and close fine
-New iac (idle air control), temp sensor, and vats resistor bypass mod.
-Replaced passenger side power window motor
-Just passed nj emissions at the Newton facility 2wks ago...2 year sticker issued
-Car does not heat up ever..180-190 in traffic on a 90degree day.
-Modine external oiler cooler added for safety.
-Oil pan gasket replaced
-Sourced a beautiful lower radiator spoiler that is almost perfect
-Firehawk options added include: Firehawk decals on lower doors and rear bumper, slp license plate frame, exhaust, wheels, keychain, some articles framed, etc).

Condition:
Car runs great, shifts great...no leaking of fluids, mobil 1 run during my duration...THERE IS NO PUFF OF SMOKE UPON STARTUP =valve guides are fine and again the achielles heel of the 82-92 f/bodies are running hot, something this car does not do.
-Nice repaint but not perfect...a great driver though..unibody is fine (floors/truck pan have no rust)...some small dings here and there but you'd have to really search for them...car is pretty straight and paint shines very very nicely
-Car has custom kick panels housing jl audio 5 1/4's/tweeters, co-axil speakers in the back, xm hookup, and alpine cd radio (not a big radio guy but i've had it on 3x's..lol)

Worth Noting:
-Rear aero spoiler has a hairline crack on the passenger side...a new spoiler is included in price (has to be painted..off a '92 green formula ((correct period spoiler))
-Highbeam button is broken..turn signals work fine though.
-A/c inop...appears to be out of freon..no evidence of dye ever being used in the system but haven't investigated further.
-Car occasionally throws code for vats system (its bypassed)..not a persistant code as it goes away after a restart..worth mentioning though

Reason for selling:
-Too many hobby cars and not enough time, if i dont' sell i will keep it and enjoy it. Currently in storage and covered and out in the elements.

**Vehicle will come w/original restored ws6 wheels (not mesh style) w/50% remaining on those tires and the original plastic lugnut covers (all 20 of them also hard to fine not busted)...would consider keeping the original ronal wheels to knock money off the price

$5000 w/the ronals and stockers firm
$4000 w/stockers firm

...may consider some trades for other vehicles as well (no boats or atv's..got 'em..no services either)

Hi, great looking Formula. What is the mileage, and do you know if it has ever been in any accidents?

How long have you had the car?

Thanks

Mileage 162k...passed nj inspection at a facility..sticker till 2014. Had the car for a little over a year..have pics of the car before it was painted if needed. Painted b/c it was a backyard type spray job, wanted something a little nicer. Car does not appear to have been in an accident..panel gaps are good, title clean. Car runs great other than the issues noted, but is a reliable cruiser. Kept it stock for just that.

Looking for something i don't need to put in storage...lol, and something different than a a 3rd gen. Getting a lot of trade offers, which is fine. Would love a pickup truck being its the only vehicle i haven't had yet (full size that is). Looking at a Silverado today, an f150 next week if that doesnt pan out and a guy emailed me on a gsx'er that looked promising. Already turned down a foxbody and snowmobile...but selling outright is the best route being i have enough vehicles already.

I think I've seen this car - I live in West Milford and I would be shocked to find another 3rd gen hawk.

I can say it is def a head turner!
