1993 Chevy C1500 Shortbed Hotrod for sale/trade

I don't need to sell or trade this. I have been wanting a older musclecar, hotrod for a while. I have owned this almost 3 yrs. I bought this in Jan. 2010 as a bone stock 1 owner old man owned truck w/ 74,000 miles. I lowered it with a BellTech 2/4" lowering kit( 2" drop spindles, 4" drop shackles, hangers and Belltech shocks) then I pulled the motor and trans in summer of 2010. Then it sat until October of 2011 when I had bought all my parts, motor and trans for it. I sanded the entire frame and under carriage and painted it Satin Black. The entire drivetrain (motor, trans and rear) were either rebuilt or replaced.

Motor: Built by Roger's Performance in Hatboro,PA consists of:

355 SBC (350 bored .030 over) 2 bolt main. Has flat top pistons (hyperutectic) , Patriot Freedom aluminum heads (180CC intake runners, 64cc chambers) Comp. ratio is 9.8:1. Also has 1.6 Crane roller rockers. Cam is Speed Pro 222 dur. @ .050 447 lift (with 1.6 roller rockers specs are 224 dur and 476 lift). Has a nice lope but not too choppy. Edelbrock Performer RPM intake w/ 2" carb spacer. Holley 650 DP built by Avanti Performance. MSD HEI distributor and E3 Diamond fire spark plugs. Motor should make b/t 350-380 HP.

Trans was built by Dave Moore in Pennsauken ,NJ :

700 R4 built to handle up to 500 HP. All HD internal parts, Corvette servo and shift kit. Torque converter is custom 2200 stall built by Pat's Performance Converters.

Custom built 3.5" driveshaft built by Associated Truck parts in Warrington,Pa

Rear 8.5" w/ Eaton True Trac posi unit , 4.56 Yukon ring/pinion, Alloy USA axles, new wheel studs, brakes shoes, wheel cylinders, and Stud Girdle cover. Built by JS Peformance in Hulmeville,Pa

Exhaust is 1 5/8" Hooker headers ceramic coated by Bonehead Performance in Warminster,Pa. Custom mandrel built 2.5" Y-pipe (built by JS Performance). 3" single Flowmaster exhaust(no catalytic converter). Truck is inspected as emissions exempt.

Other parts on truck (not all of them):

Champion 3 core aluminum radiator with dual electic fans, Derale thermastic electric fan switch, Autometer and Summit Racing gauges, Hurst Line lock, Quick Fuel fuel pressure Regulator, Caltrac Traction Bars, Air Lift Air bags w/ gauge and compressor for towing, Hidden hitch , Moroso oil pan, Canton racing timing cover, Proform Tall (GM Performance (slanted) Valve covers, Trans cooler and much more.

Interior has new black carpet and factory bench seat reupholstered in Black vinyl and Coffe bean tweed by Kramer's Auto Top Shop in Feasterville,Pa

Brakes: Ceramic front brake pads, Summit Racing Drilled/slotted brake rotors. New front calipers and master cylinder (7/2013)

Wheels/tires:

General Grabber HTS tires 22/65/17 front and 265/65/17 in rear (less than 100 miles). Brand new 17" wheels by ShowWheels USA (Thrashstars) 17x7 in front and 17x8 in rear.

Truck was built for cruising locally and highway, occasional track time (has not been to track yet) and occasional towing.

It only has 6000 miles on Resto and is 100 % reliable. could be driven everday.

95% work done by JS Performance in Hulmeville,Pa . Other 5% done by Foxwood Service Center in Somerset, NJ.

Truck needs no mechanical work.

Body is in excellent shape. No rust. still has original paint. Couple of dings and minor scratches. only body mod done was a steel roll pan. This is probably one of the cleanest 2wd trucks of this era you will find. All worked done by high quality shops using high quality parts. No cheap parts put on this. I had it built to last a long time.

May trade for an older muscle car or truck, hot rod or street rod. I will also trade for a very clean low mile LT1 or LS1 powered car. I wll trade down if car/truck is clean w/ cash or equal trade. I have 20k invested if not more in this. Have almost all receipts.

No boat, quad or motorcycle trades please. I don't want any projetcts. I want a running and driving car/truck.

Truck is currently inspected until Jan 2014

Other parts added in last year:

Headliner/sunvisors done by WNJ in Hatboro,Pa

Dakota Digital Speedometer Calibrator (Speedo is accurate with 4.56 gears)

Lowered rear another 1" by removing factory helper spring.

Asking $13,500 B/O

Ever run it in the quarter mile yet? Looks like a very clean truck. Would you be interested in a ford lightning maybe? Very clean 2000 has smaller 2.8 upper pulley stock lower, lfp stage 1 trans kit shifts so nice puts you in the seat every gear shift runs low 13s. lowered 2/4 polyurethane bushings, tuned as well. No rust excellent interior, A/C blows ice cold.. Etc etc. could you maybe send more interior exterior and underside pictures to honda250ex05@hotmail.com thanks!

Also Got any videos of it running?

I might be interested. Whats the mileage on your truck? How long have you had it. I have a short video of it running when JS Performance 1st got it running. If you want to see undercarriage pics go on JS Performance's website and look in the picture gallery. I have garage kept it since I have owned it which has been 3 yrs so it is very clean underneath. No 1/4 mile times yet. I am guessing high 13's low 14's. It is pretty quick for what it is so I may be way off on my estimation.

thanks I'd be interested in seeing the video as well. I checked out the pictures its very clean as you've stated.

its got 115k i traded a 1959 Chevy Apache fleetside for it, a few months back

I love the truck but i want something chevy again. I've gone through a few cars/trucks this year, this is my second ford I've ever owned, last one was a 1954 lol, and this the newest vehicle I've ever owned, i don't need to get rid of it whatsoever but I've seen your truck for sale for a while and thought I'd see if your interested, i've got the autocheck on the truck that goes all the way to the day it rolled off the assembly line. its number 1,962 off the line. love the truck its fast as hell and sounds awesome, and I always thought lightnings were just a fairly quick f150 lol, i was wrong once i drove it. I'm just a Chevy guy at heart, if i don't trade it its going to get a lower pulley and a new tune my goal is to have it run high to mid 12's by spring which is pretty easy to get to since its already running 13.3 at its best now.
