My 1969...

Got it a few days ago(day after the snow). It ran like junk at first and couldn't play with it but after cleaning the carb yesterday, it runs much better. I did order a new one already though.

Took a little bit of work to figure out model info but finally matched everything up. Turned out it is a 1969 model year. I'll probably do a full restoration on it over the summer.

What is anyone else running?

And hopefully I can really try it out this year.

(and you all thought I got a '69 f body...)

My grandfather has literally the same one, actually two one is our old one. It still works when you need it. Not as smooth as a new machine but it gets the job done.

Older machines work just as good as the new fancy ones, I have an old snapper that runs like a bear. My snow removal toy of choice is a Duramax diesel with an 8ft pro plus western plow in front of it though lol

That is considered an Ariens Trac Team. They were power units that could accept a snowblower, air blower and a rotary broom. Most were sold with snowblower attachments. Some parts may be obsolete but a lot is still available. The bronze gear in the front aguer box was known to go bad. I believe Ariens was the first to have the 2 stage snowblower.
