Smile Finally My Door Panels are Finished by Toms in Butler

Well after decideing to have my door panels re-done by Toms Auto Upholstery for my 1985 Trans Am, it took 2 months before completed. Very Nice work, but not cheap, almost $900.

The Door Panel Cardboard was shot on both sides. Luckily I had the GM Material and New Upper Door Trim Panels with felts. Had him install the Sound Deadner Hush Mats in the doors as well. What a difference!!!They had to be redone from scratch. Its alot of work, but came out nice.

I am very paticular with my car, even though it was alot, they look awesome !!!

I highly recommend Tom's. Rodger Pisani is the owner. Nice guy !!

Smile

I thought the Hush Mat in the doors made a big difference.

Next project is to replace the carpet with a GM Restoration Carpet and have the Hush Mat installed underneath. I have a new set of seat belts to install as well.

Pictures of Door Panels coming tomarrow

Thanks For Reading

Rob

Smile Door Panel Pictures

Here are some of the Door Panel Pictures. One with the Panel Off the car, the other 2 after completion. The Plastic Water shields were replaced with New Ones.

The Upper Door Trim with Felts are New GM that I had in Storage.

What do you think of them ???

Thanks
Rob

Those panels came out great. Hawk's didn't have a stock replacement set though for that color scheme?
