loud thud on my 92z

ok guys so im fairly new here and iv had my car for 2 years and i cant figure out what this noise is...

i have a 92 z28 305tpi auto

every time i jump on it i hear a thud and i can feel sumthing hit near the shifter and doubt its the tranny mount cause i just changed it with a poly one a few months ago and its hitting so hard now that its loosening up the shifter on the floor... im always having to tighten the shifter. what else could it be? a torque arm bushing or maybe i broke the tranny mount, which i highly doubt but still might be...

does anyone have any advise or an answer to this crazy issue?

im getting afraid to drive my car because i dont want to mess anything up...

Check BOTH your motor and trans mounts.

I would check motor mounts, trans mount, and tq. arm mount. Make sure they aren't ripped, and make sure they are all tightened down properly.

That's all I can think of that would be making noise like that.
