car shopping with my mom ...chevy strong !
so IMO the recent years of cars have gotten less attractive, big cars with small engines in them ,etc etc; so my mom had all german cars from like 97-14
in 14 she got a Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude.. car was sick white on black , black 20"s tinted out. now her lease is ending and we went car shopping again
we looked at the :
benz e-class - new body style is ugly... looks like a slightly larger C class
benz c-class - small, nothing special about it
benz s-class- feels like a boat, loose handling, but luxurious, terrible lease programs 1500-2500 a month
new benz trucks are ugly IMO
not feeling the new infinits or lexuses
cant buy anything british unless u like spending most of your life at the dealer service center (and im a mechanic)
bmw 5 series- new body style is small inside, 4 cyl turbo feels under powered and the car was extremely expensive for what you are getting (800+ a month with big amount down)
bmw x5 - expensive, not really a truck more of an SUV or a car that sits off the ground...
bmw 7 series- car was sick, big, luxurious, drove great, she was dead set on this car and then i tell her lets go test drive the tahoe... she reluctantly agrees...
drives the tahoe and bam ! shes in love lol long story short GM FTW !
if all goes according new tahoe will be here in week or 2
shes gonna have a sicker truck than me... little jealous lol

Tahoe's are unbeatable. Kinda expensive but hold value very well, make fantastic police cars too lmao. Livery service ones go upwards of 300k miles. My girls got a '12 with 92k miles on it already, we put 18k on it in the year shes had it, only did rear breaks/tires. I love driving it, all my fun cars sat home on all of our road trips. Ive blacked it all out, MBRP exhaust and a CAI, sounds awesome.

I don't care where you get it from. Just take care of it for the next 2-3 years until I need to buy it off you

Yeah, that doesn't make sense. Maybe you mean projectors with led bulbs?

There is no mix tech so you either get one or the other for the same beam. Do you mean HIDs with LED accents?

HID is an arc in a capsule, an LED is different. I think what Adam said is what you meant LEDs in a projector

ok so moritmoto or whatever the high end HID/LED brand is.. the LEDs have some sort of ballasts with them but they run cooler than HIDs so it looks like he's doing the LEDs like i said I stopped doing lights and stuff myself when my buddy opened his business and he does all of that work for us

Yeah, I didn't mean to make a big deal out of it. Hids and Leds are two separate things, that's all I wanted to say.

was thinking about that... her jeep GC was the altitude edition (the lease ends next month) so it was white, with black 20" rims and all black emblems/grill etc;
so idk if she wants the black out theme again lol
someone else told me that the aftermarket company stopped selling the blackout bowtie cause something with lawsuits?

probably. GM sells them now also as the whole emblem. I just use black vinyl and trim it out.
