Weird sound from 0-15 mph.....

Gotta problem.....i've been hearing this sound from under my car that it will only make when im creeping real slow and will go away once i go over 15 mph. the only way i can discribe it is a plastic bottle dragging under my car. I knew my e-brake cable came loose and was rubbing the driveshaft thinking that was it....i fixed the cable and it still makes that same noise. Its such an ass ache that when im driving through the parking garage at work that at least one person a day says im dragging something.

Try jacking up the rear of the car while it's in neutral and spinning the rear tires. See if you can hear it that way....

It isn't very loud, try to imagine a soda bottle hanging out the back of the car and dragging on the ground. Once you pass 10 or 15 mph it stops.

I figured it out! Go to the wheel where you hear it, take the center cap off the wheel. There was a broken tab in mine that was rattling around. I couldn't believe that damn thing was so loud but that's what it was. Probably the same on yours.

If it's not a broken tab like mentioned above them I would start checking your wheel bearings as well as your rear brakes. Like Justin said jack up the rear end and spin each wheel and see if you hear it. Do the same with the front.

By the way....thanks for the compliments on the car.
