Fog-Lights out?

I can't seem to figure out how to get the fog-lights out of my LT1 Camaro. Anyone have any links hints or tips? I couldn't gather any usefull info out of my Haynes manual.

They're bolted the the bottom of the impact beam, you have to take off the splash guard to get to em... I can give you a hand if you want

that's assuming you mean the whole assembly... if you just need to shange bulbs you gotta reach thru the impact beam and then it just twists and pulls out the back

the lights themselves are held into the bracket by little black "push pins" on each side of the lights. you can pop those out and leave the main brackets in place.

Yeah I want to go all the way but still hang onto the brackets just incase I decide to put them back in. Ive also contemplated getting a new set, sorta like those cheap ones you see at pep boys, but still keep with the square style fog-light...

Yes... ditch those Wal-Mart 'Capt'n Retardo' Foglights... your car would look so much nicer without them, just my opinion tho

I always found the 4.1gen camaro foglights to be too clingy. It just doesnt seem to blend well in the bumper. Id say remove the whole assembly, and if u want them back, look into aftermarket foggys.

appearance wise it's a lot better WITH them than without them, when they're out theres two wierd gaping holes... then again maybe if my impact beam was red and not green (thanks paul) it would look better, lol... or silver, since I have a choice of impact beam with or without bumper ATM (thanks James )
