im looking for a 1947-53 chevy 3100 3 window cab with the title,or the complete truck that needs work cheap not the 5 window

i have a 3 window that doesnt have a title nj dmv doesnt want to help get one, kevin how much do you want for the cab allso do you have the title for the cab

Ah, sorry, I have to keep the title the rest of the truck is no good without I think NJ is cracking down on those title places. Luck!

BTW, the 5 window vs 3 window is not on the VIN tag (at least or my 51), lists only the plant and the model (3100,3800, etc)

thanks i called dnv the truck came from georgia a friend of mine bought a house it was in the garage he had the bill of sale never registered it then he moved back to jersey and lost the ill of sale during the move he gave my brother the truck we called dmv they cant find the truck in the system the truck wasnt registered in a long time

Can't you sell it to someone in PA then PA issues a title then you sell back to yourself and transfer title to NJ? I know there's some trickery like that, you just need a friend in PA.

That is what Broadway does, because they operate in states that can title without having to prove ownership.
