Got my 3" Pypes Pro-V installed...
And for the money I got it for... what a nasssssty sound (in a good way) ... there is absolutely NO RASP on the LS1. It sounds like a LT1 matter of fact (I figured there would be). There is a slight performance gain, which I really dont care about ATM cuz this exhaust is just temporarily til my "car fund" has enough for Pacesetter LT's, ORY, and a Borla Catback. So basically I have this on until springtime. The tips are dead sexy, and the noise level is great. Its quiet on idle but with a slight punch of the gas, its insane. Ill post vids and pics tomorrow.

http://www.pypesexhaust.com
We installed the "LT1" version, in which we had to cut a piece of the mid-pipe to fit. Excellent fitment tho ![Very Happy](http://www.njfboa.org/forums/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif) It sounds exactly the same as the LT1 video there, just a slightly higher pitch.

Sounds sweet. So why would you want to spend more money on the overpriced Borla which sounds way too raspy?

Im set on Borla. Magnaflow is way too raspy (plus the tips are humung0rghey), GMMG & Corsa doesnt have a great money-to-performance ratio, and a bunch of other brands just havent clicked on me, unless you have another suggestion? Must be stainless.

Stainless = waste of money. Plus, stainless will still rust over time due to the heating and cooling cycles. Keep your Pypes cat-back until it fails.
