Wiper arm swap question

96 Firebird. I changed over to the 98-02 wiper arms the other day and for some reason the drivers side arm looks weird to me. The lower part of the arm near the hood sits higher than my hood. The other side is fine. Is this normal? I'll get pics asap.

I'll have to check mine. Did you get brand new arms?

OK cool thanks thor. Now on to the next thing. Driving home today my passenger side headlight wouldn't go up and the drivers side is making the grinding sound when I shut them off. They both flip up and down when I use the key fob to lock it. I guess it's time for better headlight gears. Should I order the brass kit from hawks or ebay or get the Franker hardened aluminum?

You can flip your gears 180 degrees and tighten the motors for now

Just make sure the 4 locking tabs that hold the motor to gear housing are tight, or youll strip the metal gears as well.

I just did the quick fix. That wasn't bad at all. Now I have some time to decide on which gear kit to buy. Thanks again
