2010 GMC Terrain

How can you make a car this ugly? Granted it's not as bad as Aztec, but still. They should file for bankruptcy now...

Discuss.

The Terrain is ugly. But I think a lot of cars & suvs out there are ugly too.

There could be a niche there - the segways see to police departments and such. It's really a PR move.

Not a fan at all. I think they watch too many import movies. It looks like they put a wide body kit on it, the body lines/accents bulge out too much.

Meh, its a nice truck. They were missing a big spot in the 5 passanger segment for a long time now. Trouble is that Chevy also has a variant. At least they wont be on the same showroom floor.
Ugly? Says the 4th gen and late 2nd gen owners. I think it looks pretty good.

i think it looks pretty cool, would like to see a 6 cyl option tho....something tells me a 4 banger in a decent sized truck like that isnt going to cut it.

Actually, the 2.4 direct injected motor makes 182hp, bout the same hp as the 3.4 V6 was making in the current Equinox which is about the same size.
The Terrain and Equionox both have an optional 3.0 Direct Injected V6 making 265hp. All mated to a 6spd auto trans. FWD standard, AWD optional.

That is part of the problem in this country, too many people have this perceived notion they need more power in everything they drive. 186hp is more than enough to move around a small SUV. Honda Accords don't need more power, etc. Too much. People are stupid.

Now the new Equinox I am looking forward to. that and the camaro are the main reasons I'd like to hit the NYIAS this year.

SRX is taller, longer, and most likely better handling.
That SRX is gone now.

the 4cyl can't tow much though. i'm sure that dissuades a good amount of people, including myself. i just get sad when i see a soccer-mom with a V8 Jeep and my poor saturn is struggling for dear life trying to pull my trailer up a hill. its sad really
