Cal Trac traction bars?

I have an 80 camaro and i'm thinking of getting rid of the old "slapper" traction bars and getting the Cal Trac bars. Anyone have them? How much better are they than the old school traction bars?

I do not run them but I have heard great things about both those and Slide-A-links.

Are your old ones the J-bolt style?

They're the Lakewood traction bars like the ones Jegs sells.

The universal type or the ones that replace the spring perch? Lakewood makes 2 types.
