Rain mixing in and snow is wet and packing. It's gonna be a pain to clear what's already on the ground and there expecting a lot more today.

Yeah, the real storm is just getting started. I already cleared the driveway and sidewalk from the 6-7" of wet heavy snow so it wouldn't freeze solid when the temps drop. We'll probably see another foot out of this storm today.

We still have a misty rain at this point and 32 degrees. I hope we don't get more snow, but that's wishfull thinking.

It looks like the temperature is going to drop a little around noon, Accuweather is claiming about 12" of snow today for my area...

About 6 inches total so far in Hillsborough. Just finished shoveling out and clearing off cars. Weather channel radar still shows plenty more on its way.

This storm is cranking now! The temp dropped almost 4 degrees in less than an hour, we're down to 28.

Just did another round of snow clearing with the snowblower and it looked like another 9-10" on top of the overnight 7". Glad I did it now. The plows have pushed the snow up and onto the sidewalk and it's 3-4 feet high between the road and sidewalk. I cleared that stuff while I could, if it freezes solid tonight it might be really tough to move. I think it snowed 2" while I was doing the driveway for the 2nd time. I'm running out of room to throw the snow to. And the trees and bushes are all leaning over big time! I hope we keep power tonight.

I'm not even going to bother shoveling, I was going to a few hours ago but then it started up again and was coming down hard....2 people shoveled out and it looked like they did nothing.

I was contemplating going out with the snow blower. forget it. it's still coming down hard and according the weather guy on ch6 and the weather channel it's going to snow around here until 11pm and lots of wind. I'll go out tomorrow.

The pilot and the driveway were clear at noon.

just did another round of snow removal as well, another 8" or so on toop of the 6 i had this morning. By the time i was done, i had another 2+ on the ground already. Had to clean off the porch roof, had over a foot on it.

I have a really tall pine tree in the front yard, it looks really heavy with snow and its leaning toward the powerlines. I really hope it doesnt come down in the wind later and rip the overhead wires off the house Not what i need to deal with right now

We just had a road grader go by plowing the road! I'm done for today, I'll deal with it tomorrow when it's done. Even if I get us dug out, no way I'm driving the SS into work tomorrow.

saw the plow guy outside. so i went outside and quick shoveled out the ion, 4x4'd my way through and the plow guy was nice enough to plow out my spot nice and clean. the ion did well in the snow too. stopped in at the local wawa for a sammich and a few other small trinkets (hot chocolate ).

roads are pretty crappy for already being plowed a ton. nothing a gmfwd cant handle

I cleared all the wet stuff off too, and an hour later i spent another 20 minutes shoveling another path to my Jeep so I could get to work. I'm here now, and tonight it definitely looks like I'll be stuck here for a double.

we have shoveled my driveway twice, and its fully covered again

Snow packed so hard by snowplow, I broke the shovel. Thought I was having a heart attack. If I ever catch the man who drives that snowplow I'll drag him through the snow by his nose and beat him to death with my broken shovel. I know he hides around the corner and waits for me to finish shoveling and then he comes down the street at 100 miles an hour and throws snow all over where I've just been!
