I like the Dana S60, but it seems some folks are having issues with them. 12 bolts are good if they are set up right.
If I could not do the Ford 9, I would go with the Dana S60 set up then.

I would go with the ford 9in but i wanna keep my abs. I've heard that 12 bolt don't last because of the torque arm on 93-02 Fbodys.

I'm pushing 800HP through a Strange 12-bolt. Been in the car for 8 years. Spohn torque arm. Baxter ran close to 900HP through his Strange 12-bolt, with a Madman torque arm. 6K clutch dumps with a Street Twin and very sticky slicks, and it never missed a beat.

9 will take the most beating - Dana 60 will take the most power to operate and the 12 will take the least amount of power to run the car and as was said they work very well in a real race car our 9.30 super gas nova has had a 12 since 1990 it has broken twice - its a trans break car with stiff side wall super stock 14 32 tires - its like popping the clutch wheels in the air starts -jz

According to Evan Smith's article in National Dragster a few year ago - Drivetrain loss:
Dana 60 - 5%
GM 12-bolt - 7%
Ford 9-inch - 10%

The guy I bought my truck off of had a 9second nova. He showed me pictures of the thing doing 4 foot wheel stands. I asked him about the rear and he said it was a 12bolt. From the stories he told me they hold up to a beating.
I was actually quite suprised because tire size wise they are quite week for an offroading truck.
If you NEVER EVER EVER EVER want to worry about breaking anything get a full floating 14 bolt. Thats what us mudders use for strength 500lb's of strength.

Moser does make a 3 Channel 9".
I am seriously considering a 3 channel custom 9" from a company called Midwest Chassis and Performance. They are now a sponsor on LS1tech. I have been talking to the owner, Eric, and it seems like an awesome deal. He includes many of the options that you would have to pay for on a Moser for free with his rear. Such as a drainplug, sway bar brackets, etc and his prices and very fair. His SN is ssvert99 on LS1tech.
Here's some pictures and information:
