OMG, that must have been a joke...no way in hell could he be serious. The admins over at 3rd gen should lock that post and ban him for stupidity. i couldnt believe that. if he was serious, i hope he was going for the concept of line lock., but they have kits that are REAL. and..omg what an idiot... anyone know where in NJ hes from? he definately doesnt deserve to own a f body or even any car for that matter....

hell if you wanna go for some serious weight reduction, drop a drivetrain in a rusty body, hell imagine the weight that the rust has already taken care of, and also every day youll lose more weight.

that is the funniest thing i ever seen. but you know brakes do weight alot and they slow the car down you could drop like a second off your 1/4 mile time with out them.

I like the idea of dropping the brakes out for the few tenths. But if he REALLY wants to reduce weight, why doesn't he just take the engine out and replace it with.....
