1994 C1500 Summer Toy

Picked this up with a 4.3/NV3500 5 speed and rotted cab corners for $800. Decided to fix it up and throw my spare parts at it to build a fun toy. Really just wanted to practice body work and painting before I touched my 1969 Camaro. Honestly, I decided to build this after seeing the other 1994 C1500/NV3500 project on here by townsend.

Anyway, new fuel system + lines, brake lines, rear brakes, frame primed and painted, new front end + steering, cab corners cut and welded, new clutch/pressure plate/flywheel, flex fans, lowered 2" in the rear... basically a brand new truck with the exception for the trans, rear and bushings. I'll be finishing up some small things in the next few days then it's onto some body work on the bed and painting the truck.

200cc dart heads, 355 (.030 with flat tops), mild cam:

As of right now I have roughly $1,500 into it from start to finish. At some point I'll have to address the 3.08 gears and open diff.

Nice. Plans to do the front end conversion for the dual headlight setup?

Not anytime soon. Maybe after I paint the truck. Kinda want a big old bowtie grill.

Truck is running after some extended delay due to a vacuum leak, improper timing indicator and very rich fuel ratio. I am waiting to replace parts that this clown put on that are wrong (as mentioned), install the tach and various other odds & ends. This is at operating temperature with long tubes.

Wired up a set of 210/220 flex a lite fans with two relays to constantly run with the key forward.
