video from cecil county

i went to cecil county dragway last sunday. im just getting around to putting the video up. that track is such a beautiful track. wish it was alot closer. this was the first time out this year. the car ran ok, but it was getting lazy on the top end. i think its a fuel pressure issue. so im working on getting the fuel pressure right and im doing some up grades to the 9 inch. as you can see i the video it looks like the diver side tire wasnt spinning to much. sorry for the poor video, my dad is still getting used to the new camera.

Nice man, that mph seems pretty good for the et. Is it a glide in the car?

first run was a 10.13 @129. i lost 6mph on that second run. thats why i think i have a fuel pressure issue. its a glide with a brake. car ran a 9.88 @ 135mph once last year at island. i wasnt to thrilled with the numbers this time out. but it was the first passes of the year so we shall see.

Ah got ya. It sounds like it drops off a little when it shifts? Might just be how I'm hearing it though.

Car looks good, Dan! I think that car is doomed to be a poor runner at the top of the track, and is relegated to looking great off the line since this is the second setup it does this with haha

its funny, last year this thing was loving the top end. i have to pull the carb apart and clean it. i did drain the alky before the winter but there may be something in there. it doesnt take much. i shift at 7800 and cross the line around 8000. i also have to check the trans out. it was given to me some time ago. so who knows if thats still good. the only thing that i changed over the winter was the vent for the fuel cell. maybe the bend is to tight. i have to wait until im done with the rear to do some testing.
