Ttops

What is involved with swapping a hard top to a ttop? How much would parts run and who would do it?

Forget it right now. There is a lot of extre reinforcement in a t-top car that you'd have to add plus you'd never get a good fit out of the tops. I've seen this topic a million times on TGO and nobody ever bothers to go through with it because for what it would cost you could buy another one with t-tops for almost the same price.

3rd gens arent worth even thinking about converting.
4th gen are easy though, only because a hardtop car already has the ttop structure.
Ive seen people wanting to do targa top cars(like c4+ vettes) and there is a pretty easy way to do that, BUT you would start with a convertible body and just add the hatch and rear roof section to it, but the top may still have fitment issues and require a lot of fabrication and such.
