valve covers

hey guys im trying to find center bolt valve covers that are a little taller then stock on a 5.7 third gen. The new roller rockers just barely tap the top of the stock cover. If anyone know where i can get them quick let me know.
Thanks

You can also try to stack gaskets if you just need a little clearance.

You sure its hitting the top and not just the baffles? On lt1s, we have to cut the baffles with wide body rockers.

I have a set of cast aluminum centerbolt valve covers you can try before buying. I had the center webs clearanced by a machine shop and they cleared Comp 1.6 roller rockers without a problem.

They're set up with same locations for oil filler and PCV as factory '88 GTA so they should drop right onto your engine.

I believe I have a set that'll work for you as well sitting up in the shop. They are brand new but scratched a bit. If you paint or powdercoat the cast finish you'll never see the scratches. PM me for more info.

I got a deal on a set of Jegs tall billet valve covers. They cleared the serpentine brackets and alternator just fine, and I had no more roller rocker interference. Also, if it's just the top of the polylocks hitting the covers, you can get shorter locks or have yours milled down to clear.
