Wanted: T5 parts from a V6 4th gen 5 speed

Wanted: T5 parts from a V6 4th gen. I mainly need the tailhousing w/ speed sensor and reluctor ring/wheel. So, I'm looking for a '93 + V6 T5 trans. (I was told it has to be from a Camaro/Firebird 4th gen for my project).

Ok, how much would this cost? I was told it has to be from a Camaro/Firebird 4th gen for my project.

There are some differences between the 93-95 3.4 transmissions and the 96+ 3.8 transmissions. Bob should be able to make sure you get the right parts though.

Ok, I'll be mounting the tail housing to my '89 V8 T5, which is mounted to an LT1. The PCM is a '95 so it will need the electronic VSS (reason for V6 5 speed tailhousing). Let me know for sure what you have and what it will cost.

Rich2279 I have a tail from a 96 box 1352-247 I believe they are the same as the 95 version. It uses a 17T rotor. The shift rail is the same as your 89 That along with the shift offset block will work no problem, however the location of the mechanical gear is not the same as the electronic rotor. You will need to use the mainshaft from the 96. If you are refreshing your box and are interested in the tailhousing I have I will swap shafts for you as long as yours is good. Call me if you are interested. Bob 610.469.2695 9-5 M-F

I did not plan on refreshing the tranny. The V6 mainshaft will work on a V8 T5? Is there a way I could press the reluctor wheel on my mainshaft?

They are both WC T-5's so the shafts are the same except the location of the rotor or gear. With some machine work you can relocate it. It would just be easier I thought for you to swap the shafts if you were going to refresh it, that's all. Call me if you want the tailhousing.
