P0132 & p0152

Rebuild a car they said, it will be fun they said! Seems like every week is a new issue

Got a tune and installed my 30# injectors, then started getting p0152 for passenger side heater circuit. In the process of trouble shooting I ended up getting p0132 for the driver side too! obviously with this code the car jumps out of closed loop so my mileage suffers.

Here's what I did so far to trace my issue, maybe someone has had this problem?

First:
- Swapped O2 sensors to verify code did not follow sensor. Code cleared itself and was able to drive three consecutive cycles with success. Then P0152 came back on the fourth drive.

Second:
- Verified 12v at O2 harness for both sides and tested continuity.
- With key ON, engine COLD, noted both sensors do warmup by physically feeling exhaust pipe warm up around bung.
- with key ON, read approx 0.6v at O2 feed from PCM at harness.
- Disconnected passenger side O2/knock/starter/ground/CPS sensors and inspected wiring harness up to splice in main harness, no obvious breaks or kinks.

I do have logs from Ecm pro scan if anyone wants one to see what's going on. The O2s are definitely moving. Although the driver side seems to stay on the richer side more often. Help!

What brand sensors? Could be just outside tolerance on occasion.

They are Delphi, new as of May after I smoked the last ones out during break in. I was thinking it could be the tune on the rich side? I didn't see crazy fuel trims when they were working. I'll have to check again.. Maybe order ACDelco ?

At the risk of sounding like an idiot, make sure you check your fuses and grounds. I was having bank 1 problems (i think the code was p0105) which caused me to lose my reverse lockout and was throwing a maf code also. After replacing o2 sensors and and reverse lockout solenoid, came to find it was just a simple fuse

Checked fuse and grounds which appeared ok. Contacted tuner and he sent an update, issue seems to be fixed now..

If you have Longtube headers the heater codes should be turned off. Headers lose a lot of heat vs. the cast iron manifolds and combined with being farther away from the motor with a transport delay, the system thinks the heaters are having problems. If they are oscillating correctly before the codes come up and kick them out of CL, just shut off the code.

Wrapping or ceramic coating the headers helps as well.

Hmm ok, tune iteration #4 and I just got P0152 and P1153... Bum O2 sensor? Heater circuit is 'complete' but O2 is 'incomplete'...

p1153 should just be ignored, that is insufficient switching. (typical for LT header cars)
P0152 is high voltage (Bank2 sensor1) which is passenger side.

have you checked the O2s to make sure they are actually reading themselves? (vantage type thing or volt meter on the O2 signal wires coming off the sensors)
