93-97 camaro hood

whoever designed these stupid lil plastic "vent" thing sin the hood should be shot, there not even water tight! and the underhood blanket directs the water out.

my underhood blanket thingy is shot so i removed it, cleaned up the underside of the hood the best i could, then realized why there was moldy stuff on the top of the hood blanket.

question now is.... do i get the caulk out and seal those retarted things up, or by a new underhood blanket???

RTV it, or can leave it alone and nothing really will happen except a little water getting in

Mine leaks as well and it's a pain with everything polished under the hood. I have to put blankets over the engine every time I wash it.

I tried multiple times to seal it and I still get drips. So I bought a aftermarket hood. Not a cheap fix!
